Baker & Taylor
Although Bunny is excited to finally have a reader open his book, he expresses his impatience at the long wait.

Hooray! You're finally here!
But where were you?
A bunny bounces through a range of emotions in this funny picture book about how difficult it is to wait. At first he's ecstatic that you, the reader, has arrived. But then he can't help letting you know that waiting for you took too long, was way too boring, and even became insulting. The bunny is ready to forgive everything if you will promise to stay. But hold on--he has to take a phone call. Wait! Come back !Where are you going?
Underneath this book's silly, in-your-face humor are feelings true to every child who has had to wait for someone's attention.

Fun book to read. I enjoyed the author's sense of humor.

Melanie Watt is back with a bunny that seems, at first, to be so excited to see you, but quickly devolves into co-dependency and rudeness. This comedy of manners points out to the reader what it feels like to be on the receiving end of some pretty rude behaviour.

Clever and well illustrated, this should be a staple of classroom and homes as a way to discuss manners.

This is a fun little read. It would be good for a family expecting visitors or a new baby.
