Stephen O'Malley is a paramedic who has been rescuing people all his life. But he's running now-from the burden of his profession, from the grief of losing his sister, and from a God he doesn't want to trust. He's run into a mystery. Stolen jewels are turning up in unexpected places, and his friend Meghan is caught in the middle of the trouble. Stephen's about to run into a night he will never forget: a kidnapping, a tornado, and a race to rescue the woman he loves...
I found this a bit hard to read when the other 5 books had a story going on while they dealt with finding there way to god. Kate had her work going as a negioator and Marcus had to protect someone who saw a murder happen. Stephan story for me was lacking something for me. I did read and enjoyed it was just difficult to read after book 5 and Jennifer dying.
It's hard to beat Dee's writing. This last book still holds your attention even though Stephen has been mentioned in the previous books. Not quite as tightly written as the other books in this series, it does however, tie up the details of the O'Malley series, giving glimpses of the continuing stories of Stephen's siblings.

Add a CommentLess intense than previous books in the series but still had its fair share of suspense, romance, action and seeking God. Ends the series well.
