Give students a leg up on their next interview with this first-hand look at the do's and don'ts of a successful job interview. This realistic and engaging program covers such topics as preparation, first impressions, selling yourself, interview etiquette, resumes and interview follow-up. Whether it's anticipating the questions you might be asked, learning about the company at which you are interviewing, being able to talk about your strengths and weaknesses in a positive way or choosing appropriate clothing to wear, students learn that the more preparation they do before an interview, the more likely it will be a success. And as they watch two interviews in action, students see the importance of eye contact, watching for cues from the interviewer, dressing conservatively, asking thoughtful questions about the company and writing a follow-up thank you note. They also learn that bringing food to an interview, being late, wearing too much makeup or jewelry and using slang are definite don'ts, when it comes to interview etiquette.
