Goodman isn't a complete idiot, but he's not altogether that far removed, either. He lives under the illusion he is an expert at something, but fails to convey it to those of us with a little knowledge and background.
His establishment and status quo thinking can be quite bizarre; I was reminded of that again when I heard him hold forward on Donald Trump's lack of expertise in anything [except winning elections, doing some amazing deals, starring opposite Bo Derek, et cetera, et cetera, and I'm no Trump fan and have NEVER voted for any republicon] - -although I admit that Goodman was honest about how the so-called CIA report citing that the Steele report [that Brit who compiled some gossipy thing for Hillary Clinton's campaign] had beem refuted now, multiple times [so-called sources cited contradicted Steele publicly] et cetera.
Goodman is completely clueless on global strategy and tactics, the importance of Russia to the US survival interests - - and THAT is one really important point.
What we really need is to have teams of forensic accountants and auditors, accompanied by teams of US Marshals, arrive on every floor of CIA headquarters, do a complete forensic analysis, and then begin arresting those employees there! Goodman slammed Trump for appointing Gen. Flynn, about the only appointment I would agree with and the first decent one in my lifetime to that position of nat'l security advisor! [Oh yeah, and BTW, when Goodman was at the CIA was among their very worst years, and most mass murderous behavior!]
