Bright shiny city, bright shiny (young) people. Blue skies above. This is a movie with...sheen. Hard to believe it was filmed in the same city as, say, the mean-spirited, down-and-dirty crime drama, Brooklyn's Finest.

So, good-looking flick.

Will I remember it in a couple of months? More than the name, not likely. It's a pleasant, if puzzling diversion. I decided not to try too hard to make sense of why or how this good-looking young guy is tuned in to the "patterns" he sees (although it does bring new meaning to the cliche, "It's in the stars..."). Suggest you do the same and just...accept.

The story starts off with great promise and a great premise: air traffic controller narrowly escapes killing 900 people. Whoa. But then, the story takes off (no pun intended) in a much less compelling direction. Ho-hum sets in soon after.

If you've never had a similar experience, as in strange "bending" of the laws of physics, then you probably won't get it, but if you have, it's a real trip, and a great movie.

No suspense. A dud that goes nowhere. I can't even say this film had potential, because it didn't.

Interesting but confusing idea. If I had a dual Ph.D in astronomy and philosophy I might have understood the story. If you like a little mind bending you might overlook barely ok acting and enjoy the movie.
