This book is great for children who are 3-4 years old. The illustrations are bright and beautiful. It helps children to learn the order of the months, for example, "In January Hermit the crab came across some sea anemones". It also shows how the hermit makes new friends on his journey with the creatures he meets in the sea. My little one loved this book. It is a little wordy though and long but very good.

I liked the story because the hermit crab did a lot of hard work and made friends!
