Delicious retelling of the scandalous Evelyn and the murder of her ex-lover by drug addled husband. Full of shocking details from the trial, with descriptions of a decadent life style typical of the time period. For instance it was only through the trial record was it revealed that she was the girl in the red velvet swing sparking her husband's shame. But by then it was too late and all came to ruin.
