Once upon a time, there was a deep, dark forest, where trees groaned, beasties moaned and wiggly woos waited to tickle your toes. Nobody went there until...Sir Charlie packs his best sword and goes to the deep, dark forest. He doesn't flinch when he meets the beasties, or the dragon, but when he meets the princess, he realises he's met his match.

Almost a great story, but falls flat in some areas. Is a bit confusing to follow. Language almost rhymes at times but not others which ruins the flow. Characters could be better developed

One day, a brave bold knight, Sir Charlie Stinky Socks, packed his best sword and his lunch, and boldly rode his good grey mare into the gloomy forest, accompanied by his fearless cat, Envelope. It was time for a really BIG adventure, and as you will hear, Charlie was just the knight to accomplish it! (There is a CD with this book, so you can listen to the story and read about Charlie’s hilarious adventure at the same time.)
