A sophisticated tale, underpinned by protagonist's growing psychological insight as he explores an apocryphal Britain post ecological catastrophe. Not a light read but a memorable one. The image of that super-turf along the highway will stay with me every time I hear about some new super-seed being developed by a sodding bio-chemist.

Couldn't finish this (barely got beyond the first part), just not my cup of tea - and felt very familiar, and slow.
