I enjoyed meeting Kammy and her family. This would be a great book for any tween that feels like nobody really understands how much they want their family to just stay the same.

Kams liked the way things were. She and her dad knew how they liked to do things. So when the summer starts with him marrying Kate, a "package deal" with a two year daughter and "baby boy" on the way, Kammy knows nothing will ever be the same. Kate and two-year-old Muffin really try to be nice, but somehow Kams always ends up feeling like am extra wheel and acting out. So Dad and Kate offer Kams another option - go to camp, leaving home for the first time, while Kate, Muffin, and Dad sort things out. Read to find out if things could really get any worse, and if Kate can grow to find her place at camp and in her family.
