It was the trial that electrified the world. Not only because of the defendant, Maggie Bradford, the woman whose songs captivated the world's heart. Not only because of the victim, Will Shepard, the world's most glamorous athlete. But also because everyone said Maggie had murdered not just one husband, but two. .

I guess all authors need to explore other styles, other plot lines, and other characters. In this case it was not a good exploratory trip. At times it felt like I was reading a cheap romance/thriller, one of those cookie-cutter books pumped out weekly

This book title is similar in style to Alex Cross books, but alas, it doesn't not feature him in this book. Not a bad read.
