This second book in Stephen Booth's superb chronological series is perhaps the most jarring psychologically: 'What makes people tick?'. It, moreover, establishes unequivocably the relationship between Ben Cooper and Diane Fry as the dipolar focus for the series. Great insight into daily life in the Peak District, and the travails of its constabulary. Like being there.

2nd in the series with Ben Cooper and Diane Fry, policemen in the rural Edendale area. Excellent!
