I'm not sure I can say it better than BORIGORDITO below. There is "mor magic than u can count" in this film. Part of the wave of 90s teens horror movies ("Scream," "I Know What You Did Last Summer," "Urban Legend"), "The Craft" is basically "Heathers" (or "Clueless") meets "The Witches of Eastwick." It's silly, but enjoyable and one of a number of 90s movies to reclaim witches. Fairuza Balk, who sort of had a corner on troubled goth girls, Neve Campbell, Robin Tunney, Rachel True, and Skeet Ulrich star. Campbell and Ulrich were also in "Scream," which came out the same year. It has a very 90s soundtrack, the highlight of which is Julianna Hatflied's cover of Marianne Faithful's "Witches Song." Also might want to check out "The Lost Boys" and "Gingersnaps."

Ever wonder about that little exclusive clique of girls that seem to be part of every high school scene? The ones with their own little secrets and mysterious glances? Ever wonder what they're up to?

"The Craft" tells us what one particular clique is up to, and it isn't pretty. What starts out as a half serious experiment turns into something far more dangerous and deadly--and not all of the four girls will survive.

"The Craft" is a well written, gorgeous looking movie, with sympathetic characters and witty banner. "Look out for the weirdos out there." the bus driver cautions, only to have one of the coven clique reply "Mister, we ARE the weirdos."
