Soul Song

While reading this book I kept asking myself how Kit managed to hang onto her fiddle after being kidnapped, thrown into the back of a car, physically hauled out, forced to swim under water for a prolonged period of time and drive a car. Then she is so stupid she leaves the protection of her hotel knowing she only had to wait a couple of hours for help to arrive. She doesn't really deserve toi be alive.
