A flat out great novel. Not to be missed. Hill's next great novel in the Dalzeil Pasco, Wield series, On Buelah Heights, follows.

Thereafter, Hill and the series veers increasingly off the track until Death Comes For The Fatman finally begins to redeem it. Hill simply writes far too much for any six human beings.

Easily the finest ensemble style series in all of crime fiction.
