The thing that stood out to me the most about this book was how much of a non-character Nick is. He pretty much never expresses his opinion and just does whatever others tell him to do. It's clear that he doesn't want to do these things, but he does them anyway because he's the main character and he needs to be there to advance the plot. The only time he really acts instead of reacts is in the last 2 chapters and by that point it's too late. Other than that the book was kinda alright. Wasn't particularly interesting but whatever. Great Gatsby: 4/10.
