(5 Stars) So I actually procrastinated on reading this book for a long time. The premise was so dark, but I'm definitely glad I read it. Brockmann, as usual, came through with incredible characters, rich relationships, and intense action. She had me going several times with the Nash situation, and there were plenty of laughs and tears spread throughout the novel. It's exciting to watch the individuals grow throughout the series. Not only are they not perfect, but their relationships face realistic challenges. Even after the spotlight shifts away from a couple, they still come back in the series - and not just as two-dimensional scene setting or the all-knowing voice of experience. The Troubleshooters series is so great, and I really hope that Brockmann keeps it going!
